My name is Khaled Sabat. I was born and raised in Bethlehem, the Holy Land. As a child I spent a lot of time in my father’s souvenir shop. That gave me the opportunity to meet pilgrims from all over the world. I always enjoyed talking to them about my hometown and sharing with them my faith, culture and heritage. Those experiences shaped my passion for the Holy Land and led me to later join a program at Bethlehem University from which I graduated as a tour guide in 2002. For various reasons, I moved to the United States that same year, and in 2004 became a United States citizen. My love for my homeland and sharing it with others stayed with me. Holy Cross Tours is the fulfillment of my dream and culmination of my education and my upbringing. Now I have the opportunity to send you on a spiritual journey following the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ where you will see the Holy Land through my eyes as a local Christian.
On a personal note, in 2016 I married my wife, Majida, and in 2018 we welcomed our first child, Julia. I am currently a member of the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Hackensack, New Jersey.
